Voluntas is the fifth painting in my latest series, that delves into free will, and asks one to question what free will means to them. Imagery of a sheep was added as a symbol of either, following the "proverbial" herd, or breaking free from that herd, and setting your own course and destination in life. The hand extended out as a gift, or offering of the flower, is a representation of an act of kindness, and how giving, oftentimes is far more rewarding than receiving. It costs nothing to be kind, and we can all use our free will to do so
