Haestio is the fourth painting in my latest series. This piece is about the addictive nature that many of us feel, and how our environments can shape our choices and who we are. Haesito is a Latin term that translates to "I hesitate" or "I am stuck." This painting is a representation of the many people who struggle with retreating back to what we know, because it is our comfort zone. It doesn't mean that the comfort zone is good for us, or what we want for ourselves. It's what we are used to. Haesito is meant to cause you to question yourself, the next time that environment comes knocking at your door. Will you answer it, or will you choose better
